Alasdair Clipston is an experienced leader in the CRO industry, with deep expertise in regulatory physical and analytical chemistry. Since October 2024, Alasdair has served as Head of Site at York, overseeing site strategy and operations to deliver high-quality bioanalytical services. He previously held senior roles at Smithers and Charles River Laboratories, where he directed Chemistry teams performing regulatory analytical studies. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and holds an MSci in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde. Alasdair brings a strong research background and is committed to operational excellence and empowering teams.
